Abstract

One of the expedition entrepreneurs who have goods transportation services, namely PT. Tunas Antarnusa Muda Cargo or often abbreviated as (TAM Cargo) specifically serves only the transportation of goods by land only. Tam cargo already existed in 2011. Facts on the ground show that expedition companies still often do acts that can cause loss for the recipient of goods, as well as clear losses (material) that are felt by the recipient or immaterial based losses such as not as expected and inconvenience incurred experienced by the recipient and sender, as well as shipping goods with this Tam cargo. The formulation of the problem in this research are: a) how is the implementation of the agreement carried out by the Pekanbaru Cargo Tam on the delivery of goods?, B) How is the implementation of the Tam Cargo compensation in the Pekanbaru branch on the delivery of the goods? The type and nature of this research is classified as observational research, where this research plunges directly into the field where the research was conducted in order to get a complete interview and data, while its nature is descriptive, explaining in full how the implementation of goods transportation agreements between PT. Tam Cargo to shippers in Pekanbaru City. The results of this study are the implementation of the agreement made by PT. TAM Cargo Pekanbaru branch of goods delivery in the form of a standard contract (standard contract) that is an agreement whose contents are standardized and outlined in the form of a delivery receipt form with all the clauses made by the carrier and the consumer can only approve and sign the form. Implementation of compensation from PT. TAM Cargo Pekanbaru branch of shipping goods by compensating for the loss of goods in accordance with the amount of loss calculation from PT. TAM Cargo with the payment procedure in the form of installments by cutting the next shipping fee of Rp. 200,000 / shipment with a minimum shipping bill of Rp. 2,000,000.
