Abstract
This study aims to determine how the implementation of the function of the Village Head in community development in Kubang Jaya Village, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency. Community development assessment indicators used include counseling, direction, and guidance. This type of research is located in Kubang Jaya Village, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency. The purpose of the study was to analyze and determine the implementation of the function of the Village Head in community development and to find out the obstacles to the implementation of the function of the Village Head in community development. The method used is a quantitative method that uses a descriptive survey technique, namely prioritizing a list of questionnaires as a data collection tool and the data collected with this tool is then used as the main raw material for analyzing empirical conditions from the objectivity of the existence of research objectives at precise locations. There are two groups of population and samples, namely village officials and community, the sample sizes from the two groups are 21 and 44 people, the technique used by the author in determining the individual sample in the first group uses a census technique consisting of the Village Secretary, Village Head, Village Head, Head of BPD, as well as RT and RW. Furthermore, in the second sample using a purposive sampling technique, which consists of a number of heads of families. Types and sources of data using primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques using a list of questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation. While the data analysis technique used descriptive analysis techniques. Based on this analysis technique, the researcher assessed and concluded that the Implementation of the Function of the Village Head in Community Development in Kubang Jaya Village, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency at intervals was Sufficiently Implemented.
