Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the obligations of the Village Head in the bidam of peace and order in the neighborhood community of Kampung Merge Makmur whether it has gone up or not. This research was conducted in Kampung Merged Makmur, Kerinci Kanan District, Siak Regency. This research uses descriptive qualitative analysis by collecting data by face-to-face and interacting directly with people who are in the research area. Evaluation theory that researchers use is the theory according to William N Dunn (in Nugroho, 2009: 239) with indicators of effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy and responsiveness. From the results of research conducted on each of the sub-indicators, the conclusion is that in carrying out their obligations the Village Head has been carried out but has not been maximized. As for suggestions from researchers so that the activities that have been made run effectively and efficiently, the community must participate in carrying out activities in maintaining peace and order in the Ksmpung Join Makmur environment.
