Abstract
The purpose of this research to determine the difference between the company’s financial performance and stock volume trading before and after the acquisition of a nonfinancial company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). Financial performance proxied with the ratio of finance Current Ratio (CR), Return on Assets (ROA), Return On Equity (ROE), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Debt Ratio, Debt Equity Ratio (DER) dan Total Assets Turnover (TATO). The research population includes all Non-Financial Companies Listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange which conducted the acquisition activity in 2014-2015 which amounted to 93 companies. The sample selection technique used purposive sampling method and obtained 9 companies. Methods of data analysis used in this research include normality test, and wilcoxon’s signed ranks test. The results of this research indicate that all the variable on this research which is, Current Ratio (CR), Total Assets Turnover (TATO), Current Ratio (CR), Return on Assets (ROA), Return On Equity (ROE), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Debt Ratio, Debt Equity Ratio (DER) did not change significantly after acquisition. However, Total Assets Turnover (TATO did change significantly after acquisition. Stock volume trading did not change significantly after acquisition.
