Abstract
Productivity in the world of construction is a fundamental factor that affect the ability to compete in the construction industry. As a supplier concrete in every construction project, the readymix concrete industry is very needed. An increase in the number of readymix companies, especially during the pandemic 2020 is currently affecting the dwindling demand for concrete. Companies that are established early will be much at risk because of the use of batching plant for many years can reduce the capability of the tool, if not balanced with adequate care, eating can have an impact on resulting productivity. Calculation of batching plant productivity needed to get tool productivity results, so you can see comparison of the results of the productivity of the tool at the time of the research with the productivity standards of the tool itself. The purpose of this research is to knowing the stages of concrete production in a drymix batching plant, knowing the productivity of tools that can be produced, and factors that affect activities production during the observation. The concept of the approach used in the research uses time study method. This study uses a direct measurement method namely by observing the work done by the operator by noting the time required to complete the work, using assistive devices record and work sampling in the form of worksheets to record observation data. The stages of the readymix concrete production process begin with preparation materials, dosing of materials, mixing of concrete, and transportation to site project. The highest average productivity is produced by fc'15 concrete of 78.100 m³/hour, with a duration of 4.30 minutes. Then followed by concrete fc'20 of 77.256 m³/hour, with a time of 4.34 minutes, and the lowest productivity obtained at the quality of concrete fc'25 of 73.316 m³/hour with a time duration of 4.58 minute. The productivity standard of drymix batching plant in the company is 130 m³/hour and from the calculation of the productivity of the batching plant for the type of concrete fc'15 can only meet 60% of the company's productivity standards, for the type of concrete fc'20 is 59.43%, while fc'15 is only 56.39%, and the overall percentage of productivity results on average is 58.514%, so that not good enough because it does not reach the standard of tool productivity used. Factors that affect production activities at the batching plant during the observation took place, namely operator factors, weather, electricity network, and tools and materials.
