Abstract
Micro Small Medium Enterprise Development Strategy in Sungai Buluh Village, West Singkep District, Lingga Regency By: Windy Tri Apriliandini NPM: 153410026 ABSTRACT In order to increase regional economic growth, each region / region of course makes an effort to explore all the potential for local resource-based economic development. Based on data from the Department of Manpower, Cooperatives, Micro Small Medium Enterprises and Industry of Lingga Regency, the number of micro small medium -sized processing industries in West Singkep District from 2014 - 2019 has increased, namely in 2014 the number of Micro Small Medium Enterprises Industry was 22 units, in 2015 there were 27 units, 2016 totaled 39 units, 2017 totaled 43, in 2018 totaled 47, and in 2019 increased by 53 units. This research aims to formulating a development strategy for micro small medium enterprises in Sungai Buluh Village, West Singkep District, Lingga Regency, using qualitative descriptive analysis method and to know the characteristics of micro small medium enterprises industry using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis methods with Likert scale calculations, as well as knowing the development strategy of micro small medium business industry using IFAS EFAS analysis method. This study uses primary data in the form of field observations, interviews and questionnaires and secondary data in the form of related documents. The results showed that all cracker producers obtained raw materials in the local area of West Singkep District. The entrepreneurs used 58% of the raw materials for fish, shrimp and squid, the entrepreneurs were satisfied with the condition of the raw materials obtained. For the production process, the businessmen still use the traditional method, and for the drying equipment they still use bamboo and zinc cerebeng. The workforce of 51% of employers utilizes local workers such as family members and neighbors. 77% of the entrepreneurs use their own capital to make crackers, there are also entrepreneurs who borrow money from banks or cooperatives to open cracker businesses. 89% of entrepreneurs market their merchandise to shops / kiosks. And for the potential of the micro small medium business industry has a high score with an average score of 88.6 (strongly agree), for problems in the development of the micro small medium business industry, it gets an average score of 74.525 (agree). Meanwhile, based on the results of the IFAS EFAS analysis, there are six strategies based on the weighting total priority, namely; (a) Increase product marketing, (b) expand the scale of promotion, (c) Increase public awareness to better protect the sea and existing resources, (d) Provide a drying place.
