Abstract
Bukit Suligi tourism object is a tourist attraction that has the potential to be developed as an alternative tourist destination that is interesting, unique and also exotic, this tour is located in Aliantan Village, Kabun District, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau. This study aims to determine the components of tourism development using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis methods with Likert scale calculations and to determine internal and external factors as well as to determine the strategy for developing tourism objects on Mount Suligi using the IFAS EFAS analysis method. This research uses descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods and uses primary data sources in the form of field observations, interviews with several stakeholders as well as 4-5 community leaders and distributing questionnaires of 100 respondents and secondary data in the form of related documents. The results of the analysis show that, the highest tourist attraction on Suligi Hill is the beauty of the clouds on the tourist attraction with a score of 91.2%, while the supporting facilities are a parking lot with a score of 75.6% and seen from the conditions of accessibility, time and the distance traveled got a score of 83.6% and 82%. Of the additional services at the Bukit Suligi tourist attraction, the highest involvement and cooperation is from the community and tourism awareness groups with a score of 85.6% and 85.4%. From the support of the local community the highest is the open attitude of the community to tourist visitors with a score of 89.8%, while security at tourist objects gets a score of 86%. Judging from the tourism marketing of Bukit Suligi, obtaining the highest score is through social media with a score of 97.8%, and information obtained by visitors regarding Bukit Suligi tourism is higher obtained from social media with a score of 95%. While the strategy formulation obtained from the IFAS EFAS analysis based on weighting priorities is four, namely: (a)development of nature-based tourism objects, (b)improving facilities and infrastructure, (c)establishing good cooperation with BMKG and (d)conducting work equal among stakeholders. The suggestion for this research is to take into consideration the development of the Bukit Suligi tourist attraction.
