Abstract

This study aims to find out about Culture and Culture Learning (Zapin Dance Broken 12) in Class X MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 3 Tapung Academic Year 2019/2020. The theory used Wina Sanjaya, and Kusnadi. The approach used in this research is a descriptive method with quality data. Learning art and culture consists of three stages of activities including preliminary activities, core activities, and closing activities. Data collection through observation, interviews and documentation through the study of art and culture. The subject of this research was one art and culture teacher and 35 students of grade X MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 3 Tapung in the academic year 2019/2020. The results of conducting this research were that the curriculum used by SMA Negeri 3 Tapung already used the 2013 curriculum, and the syllabus used had used the equivalent SMA syllabus as determined by the government. The learning method used is a demonstration method, and peer tutors. The material is learned about the variety of dance moves, with the allocation of time for 8 meetings x 2 hours of study @ 45 minutes. The results of student learning that students are able to learn the art of zapin dance broke out in groups well outside the classroom without any facilities and infrastructure of art in schools students learn very well, can be seen from the results of a good student evaluation.
