Abstract
In the implementation of building construction, there are still inefficiencies that can hamper the process. So in the building construction project, it is demanded that there is a careful planning in every aspect so that nothing happens that can hamper the progress of the construction work. Activities that use resources but do not produce the expected value (value) that results in waste (waste). The purpose of this study is to minimize waste on construction projects so that it does not interfere with the process of implementing development. This research was conducted using lean construction methods by distributing questionnaire questions 7 waste about the factors causing waste. Questions on the completed questionnaire were then tested for validity and reliability using the SPSS application. The results of the study obtained 3 high-cost materials namely ready mix concrete, D22 iron, and D25 iron. The percentage of waste level in 3 high-cost materials, namely D22 iron is 8.87%, ready mix concrete is 2%, and D25 iron is 1.12%. The factors causing waste consist of 19 factors. The highest ranking factor causing waste is waste over production, namely the occurrence of communication with a coefficient of 0.861. While the lowest cause of waste is waste waiting, namely broken tools with a coefficient of 0.437.
