Abstract
This study aims to determine the meaning of the moral message of education in Roland Barthes's semiotic analysis of Hago advertisements. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative, where the researcher explains and describes the findings. The subjects in this study were the signs and symbols of the Hago Pasti Jago advertisement. This ad lasts 30 seconds and then compares with the opinions of three teachers the meaning of the moral message of education in the Hago ad. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis method used in this research is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Test the validity of the data using triangulation. The results of this study show the behavior of the main actors in teacher and student advertisements such as the signifier of students standing in front of the class, the teacher writing learning materials, undisciplined students and two people playing online games in the school environment and Signified (signified) the occurrence of discrimination in giving sanctions to students. those who stand receive punishment, while students who arrive late are treated with special privileges, while the myth that online games are no longer a game for children from various layers of society, unlimited social status, occupation, age and gender is very fond of hago games.
