Abstract
Maintenance activities serves as an activity to maintain and keep facilities or factory equipment, reform and adjustments or changing who is needed so that the state of production there is a satisfactory operation all planned and all activities pertaining to maintain the like a production in a condition worth working that the production in a palm oil factory PT.Sumber Sawit Sejahtera prosperous stay awake. As for conducted in the machine maintenance in support the smooth running of the maintenance preventif production and maintenance corrective that is one the series of activities to be done and the knowledge aimed at maintain the machine fixed stable or perfect when used. This researchers could use the types of data on qualitative use up secondary data such as a written document and spoken from the information types using secondary data sources in the form of written documents and oral information from the factory without changed. Of the results of the analysis uses the method oee (overalls equipment effectiveness) results from the application of machine maintenance very influential on performance machine that affects smooth production. Where reference to best practices or world class performance engines at palm oil factory PT.Sumber Sawit Sejahtera prosperous is relatively low and inhibit smooth production .
