Abstract
Adjustment is a process that includes mental and behavioral responses that aim to change individual behavior so that there is a more appropriate relationship between the individual and his environment. This study aims to find out how the adjustment of Islamic Patani southern Thailand students who continue their education in Pekanbaru. This study uses quantitative methods. The population in this study amounted to 30 Patani students. The data collected in this study was using a Liker scale. The scale used is the self-adjustment scale and then modified by the researcher consisting of 48 items. The analysis used is descriptive statistical analysis. The results of this study indicate that the adjustment of Islamic students in southern Patani Thailand who continue their education in Pekanbaru is in the moderate category. From the results of the analysis, it can be said that there is a positive relationship, meaning that self-adjustment is more effective if it is marked by how well individuals can deal with situations and conditions that are always changing.
