Abstract
Various demands for activities, school assignments make it difficult for students who take part in a special program to memorize the Qur'an to divide their time to memorize the Qur'an. Adversity Quotient is an individual's ability to be able to survive in the face of adversity. This study aims to examine information on how the fighting power of students who take part in a special program of memorizing the Qur'an at the Al-Jauhar Modern Islamic Boarding School Duri IKHD. This research uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological approach. Methods of data collection using interviews and observation. The analytical method used is the Miles Huberman Model Analysis. The research subjects were 2 students who participated in a special program for memorizing the Qur'an. The subject determination technique used was purposive sampling. The results showed that the two subjects had difficulty in memorizing the Koran, especially in dividing the time between carrying out activities in Islamic boarding schools and memorizing the Koran. The ways taken by the two subjects to overcome these difficulties were by setting daily targets in memorizing the Qur'an, taking advantage of free time to memorize, using a special place to memorize to avoid distractions, involving other people such as friends or ustdzah to listen to the memorization at the school. outside the schedule of the Qur'an memorization program, forcing oneself to rise from laziness in memorizing and doing favorite activities when experiencing boredom in memorizing the Qur'an such as playing, telling stories and joking with friends.
