Abstract

Career is a stage where it affects the life of each individual as a whole. Therefore, accuracy in choosing and also determining a career decusion is an important thing that must be passed in a person’s life journey. In career selection there is also a component in self efficacy is a self-assessment, as well as information about the job that contains the selection of ability goals to determine career goals that have the assessmen that it does. The purpose of this study is to find out if there is relationship between self efficacy and career decision making ability in psychology student at Riau Islamic University. The subject of this study was the psychology student of Riau Islamic University as many as 371 people, using Random Sampling technique. The method of data collection using the scale of Self Efficacy 41 grains aitem and Self Efficacy 21 grains aitem compiled by researchers. Analysis of this data using Spearman Rank Order is known that there is a positive relationship between self efficacy and career retrieval in Pscyhology students at Riau Islamic University Where shown by the correlation value (r) = 0.687 then the significance value of both variabels is 0.000 (p<0.05). therefore, showing the direction of positive relationships in the direction can be interpreted the higher self efficacy, the higher the Career Decision Making in Psychology Students at the Islamic University Of Riau.
