Abstract
This research was conducted on 15 September 2020-12 October 2020 at the Laboratory of Fish Seed Center (BBI) Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of different natural feeding on the growth and survival of pond fish larvae. The method used was a completely randomized design (CRD) method with 5 treatments and 3 replications with P1 (Artemia 100%) P2 (Daphnia 100%) P3 (Moina 100%) P4 (Tubifex 100%) and P5 (100% Mosquito larvae. ). The pond fish used weigh 0.25 g / fish and 0.30 cm long / fish. The container used is an aquarium with a size of 40x60x35 with a water level of 15 cm. The results showed the highest survival rate of pond fish larvae in treatment P1 (Artemia 100%) was 88.88%. The highest weight growth was P1 with a weight of 1.47 gr and the lowest was in P4 with a weight of 1.12 gr. While the highest length growth was on P1 with a length of 1.16 cm and the lowest was on P4 with a length of 0.93 cm. While the highest daily growth rate was in treatment P1, namely 17.46% and the lowest was in treatment P4, namely 14.68%. Then the water quality parameters during the study obtained temperatures ranging from 25-31 oC, pH 6 and DO ranging from 3.5-6.20.
