Abstract
This research was carried out in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution Km 11, Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. The study was carried out from October 2020 to January 2021. The purpose of this study was to determine the interaction of Oil Palm Empty Bunch Ash and NASA POC on the Growth and Production of Purple Wren Eggplant (Solanum melongena L.). The design used in this study was a Factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is Oil Palm Empty Bunch Ash which consists of 4 levels, namely: 0, 360, 720 and 1080 g per plant. The second factor is NASA's POC which consists of 4 levels, namely: 0, 3, 6 and 9 ml per liter of water. So there are 16 treatment combinations. Each treatment combination was repeated 3 times, so that 48 experimental plots were obtained, each plot unit consisted of 4 plants and 2 plants as samples, so that a total of 192 plants were obtained. Parameters observed were: plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit per plant, fruit weight per plant, fruit weight per fruit and number of fruit residues. If the calculated F is greater than the F table, then it is continued by conducting a further test of Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) at the 5% level. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the interaction of Oil Palm Empty Bunch Ash and NASA POC is significant for all observation parameters. The best treatment dose of Empty Palm Oil Bunch Ash is 1080 g per plant and a concentration of 9 ml per liter of NASA POC water. The main effect of the dose of Oil Palm Empty Bunches Ash was significant on all observation parameters. The best treatment dose of Empty Palm Oil Bunch Ash is 1080 g per plant. The main effect of the NASA POC concentration was significant on all observation parameters, the best treatment was the NASA POC concentration of 9 ml per liter of water.
