Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the interaction effect and the main effects of superior plant hormones and various liquid organic fertilizer on the growth and production of cabbage. The research has been carried out on the Ma'had Al-Munawwarah Dormitory. Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution Km. 11, No. 113, Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. Lasts for 4 months starting from September to December 2020. The research design used a factorial completely randomized design (CRD) with two factors. The first factor is superior plant hormone (K), consisting of 4 levels, namely, 0, 1.5, 3 and 4.5 ml/l water. The second factor is various types of liquid organic fertilizer (S), consisting of 4 levels, namely without liquid organic fertilizer, NASA liquid organic fertilizer, Herbafarm and Bio Sugih. Parameters observed were number of leaves, harvest age, plant fresh weight, number of leaves that did not form buds, diameter of shoots, fresh weight of shoots, volume of roots and the ratio of crop to plant. Observational data were analyzed statistically and continued with the BNJ test at the 5% level. The results of the observations showed that the effect of the interaction of superior plant hormones and various types of liquid organic fertilizers was not significantly different on all observation parameters except for the comparison of crop to cabbage parameters. The main effect of the concentration of superior plant hormones did not have a significant effect on all observation parameters. The main effect of various types of liquid organic fertilizer has a significant effect on all observation parameters, the best treatment is in the treatment of Bio Sugih liquid organic fertilizer.
