Abstract
The research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, for 6 months from November 2019 to April 2020. The purpose of the study was to determine the interaction effect of giving vermicompost and goat urine POC on the growth and production of red okra plants. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is vermicompost fertilizer and the second factor is goat urine POC. The application of vermicompost fertilizer consisted of 4 treatment levels, namely 0, 500, 1,500, 2,500 grams/plot and POC of goat urine which consisted of 4 treatment levels, namely 0, 100, 200, 300 cc of goat urine / l of water, in order to obtain 16 treatment combinations. Where each treatment combination consisted of 4 plants, 2 of which were sampled so that all plants totaled 192 plants. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that: The interaction of vermicompost fertilizer and goat urine POC was significant on plant height, number of fruit per plant, fruit weight per plant, and seed weight. The best treatment was the application of vermicompost fertilizer of 2,500 g/plot combined with the application of a concentration of POC in goat urine of 300 cc/l of water. The main effect of the dose of vermicompost fertilizer was real on all observation parameters. The best treatment is the dose of vermicompost 2,500 g/plot. The main effect of goat urine POC concentration was significant on all parameters. The best treatment was giving goat urine POC concentration of 300 cc/l of water.
