Abstract

One reason for the establishment of the State Judicial Commission in Europe is to revive public confidence in the judicial world and a state agency that became a liaison between the powers of government (executive power) in this case the Department of Justice with the judiciary (judicial power). Until now 27 countries in Europe that have a similar state agency of the Judicial Commission. Judicial Commission in Ireland called the Courts Service, in France called the Conseil Superieur de la Magistrature and in Italy called the Consiglio Superiore della Magistratura. Judicial Commission in Northern Europe are represented by Ireland has responsibility and authority in the area of technical policy and policy-making in the field of justice. While the Judicial Commission in Southern Europe represented by France and Italy have authority in determining the terms of a career, recruitment of judges, judges education and training, transfer and promotion of judges as well as the enforcement of discipline.
