Abstract

This study aimed to examine and analyze the effect of job training on employee work performance at PT. Inti Indosawit Subur Pangkalan Kerinci Kanan Pelalawan Regency. The sample in this study amounted to 30 people using the census method. This research uses a quantitative method that uses primary data and secondary data obtained through a research questionnaire and then tabulated and linked to the theoretical basis in the literature review. Based on the results of simple linear regression analysis shows that job training variables have a positive effect on employee performance. The correlation coefficient (R) shows that the close relationship between training and employee performance at PT. Inti Indosawit Subur Pangkalan Kerinci Kanan Pelalawan Regency is in the medium category. T test shows that t_count> t_table, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that partially there is an influence between the variable of job training and employee performance variable at PT. Inti Indosawit Subur Pangkalan Kerinci Kanan Pelalawan Regency. Training provided by companies can improve employee performance because the training is conducted in accordance with the company's goals and needs. The magnitude of the effect given by the job training variable at PT. Inti Indosawit Subur, Pangkalan Kerinci Kanan, Pelalawan Regency is not too big. This is because training is prioritized for new employees or certain employees even though there are also experienced employees to add new insights to him, so training is not the most important thing in improving employee performance there are still many other things that also have a great influence for example rewards, compensation and so forth.
