Abstract

Supervision of general election campaigns is one of the duties and responsibilities of the General Election Supervisory Agency. The number of violations that occurred during the general election campaign raises the question of whether Badan Pengawas Pemilihan Umum has implemented the implementation of Policy of Badan Pengawas Pemilihan Umum Number 33 of 2018 concerning general election campaign supervision. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of regulatory policies for the election supervisory agency in conducting supervision during the election campaign period. To answer the problems in this study, qualitative research methods were used with several informants as the source of information. The result of this research is that Bawaslu of Kampar Regency has carried out supervision of the general election campaign in Kampar district (Study of Gunung Sahilan District, Xii Koto Kampar and Bangkinang Kota District). In the implementation of this policy, of course there are several inhibiting factors, including human resources (skills and work ability), facilities and infrastructure.
