Abstract

Consignment for land acquisition compensation for the construction of domestic / international passenger ports and cargo in Meranti Islands Regency was carried out because the land owner was taking the land object to court. This is done because there is no mistake in paying compensation for land acquisition and to avoid problems in the future. From this, it is necessary to examine how the implementation of land acquisition compensation consignment for the interests of the Meranti Islands Regency Regional Government and the obstacles faced in implementing the consignment used for the construction of domestic / international passenger ports and cargo in Meranti Islands Regency. The research method used in the preparation of this thesis is analytical descriptive or also known as the sociological (empirical) research method. The data source is through primary data and secondary data, while the data collection tools used are questionnaires and interviews. From this data, it is then processed and presented by comparing field data with the opinions of experts or with laws and regulations which are used as a juridical basis for research. Based on the results of the research, it is found that the implementation of the consignment of compensation for land acquisition for public interest which is used for the construction of the Domestic / International Passenger Port in Dorak, Meranti Islands Regency is carried out by following the provisions in accordance with Presidential Regulation Number 71 of 2012. While the obstacles faced are community factors land objects that are still being litigated in court and the factors of means or facilities.
