Abstract

Coaching is an activity carried out by the government to increase the ability and knowledge of the community or the target of coaching to be a better condition in terms of education, social and economy. the government must play an active role in the development of the regional economy both medium and small industries, Rumbio jaya District is one of the Districts in the Regency that has the potential of traditional iron processing industries namely blacksmith craftsmen into agricultural tools and daily necessities, there are also goals Kampar Regency Government's goal is to make this blacksmith an industrial center that is growing and known by the regions, nationally and internationally, and therefore it is necessary to provide guidance for iron craftsmen to improve the quality of blacksmith products, but in fact there are still phenomena about coaching including many Craftsmen blacksmiths in Rumbio Jaya Subdistrict who have not used modern technology, blacksmith craftsmen in Rumbio Jaya Subdistrict still lack training, lack of socialization conducted by the Department of Industry and Labor of Kampar Regency so that many craftsmen do not know me so that local government assistance in terms of quantity, so researchers interested in conducting research on the development of blacksmith craftsmen in Rumbio Jaya District Kampar district. This research uses descriptive type with quantitative data. This research will be conducted at the Department of Industry and Labor of Kampar Regency and in several villages in Rumbio Jaya District. To get a representative sample, a purposive sampling technique was used which was a coaching participant. after a discussion of the results of the processed data and interviews and observations, it can be concluded that the Guidance Analysis by the Department of Industry and Labor of the Kampar Regency Study of Blacksmith Craftsmen in Rumbio Jaya District of Kampar Regency in the category is quite good. As for what can be suggested, among others, the Department of Industry and Labor of the Kampar Regency to maximize its socialization, provide training manuals, budget for fostering the use of technology to be one of the programs and activities and to promote blacksmith craft products.
