Abstract
The solar power generation system (PLTS) is growing rapidly as fossil fuel reserves are needed for electricity generation. To meet electricity needs, the solar power generation system (PLTS) uses solar panels that can be connected to the grid. Therefore, this research uses data collection and analysis methods to determine the suitability between the total power needs of the building and the power that can be produced by PLTS. The research was conducted on the solar power plant in the c building of the engineering faculty aims to get how many additional components needed by PLTS to be able to meet the power needs of the building, and analyze the amount of energy produced by solar power plants. The number of solar modules studied was 56 pieces of type 195WP and 14 pieces of type 200 WP. Based on research and measurements carried out the total power of the building is 359802 Wh, and the maximum power that can be produced PLTS 199909.07 Watt. So the conclusion is needed to add as many as 160 pieces of panels, 240 batteries, 5 pieces of SCC.
