Abstract
The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between leg muscle power and arm muscle power to the breaststroke swimming results of Club Riau Aquatic Pekanbaru members. The type of this research is multiple correlation. The sample in this study were 10 members of the Riau Aquatic Club Pekanbaru. The research instrument used was a standing broad jump test, an overhead medicine ball thrrow test and a 50-meter breaststroke. The data analysis technique used is to calculate the value level of the relationship or multiple correlation. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that (1) There is a relationship between leg muscle power and the breaststroke swimming results of Club Riau Aquatic Pekanbaru members with a value of rcount = 0.751> r table = 0.632, (2) There is a relationship between arm muscle power and breaststroke swimming results of Club members. Riau Aquatic Pekanbaru with a value of rhitung = 0.837> r table = 0.632, (3) There is a relationship between leg muscle power and arm muscle power to the breaststroke swimming results of Club Riau Aquatic Pekanbaru members with a value of rcount = 0.855> r table = 0.632.
