Abstract
This study aims to determine whether there is influence of parents' socioeconomic status on student learning outcomes. The method used is quantitative descriptive method. The population in this study were students of class XI iis 3, XI iis 4, XI iis 5 SMA Negeri 2 Bangkinang Kota. And the study population was 80 students. In the results of research parents' socioeconomic status on student learning outcomes have a positive and significant effect. As for the influence of parents 'socioeconomic status on student learning outcomes of class in XI in SMA Negeri 2 Bangkinang Kota, it was concluded that there was an influence of parents' socioeconomic status on student learning outcomes, which was significant with a tcount of 3.639> ttable 1.990, indicating that the socioeconomic status variable parents (X) influence student learning outcomes (Y) with a significant level of 0,000 <0.05. The magnitude of the influence of parents' socioeconomic status on student learning outcomes was 14.5%, while the remaining 85.5% was influenced by other variables
