Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was a contribution of leg muscle strength and eye-foot coordination to the ability to shoot soccer at Club Ribak Sude FC Tenayan Raya Pekanbaru City. This type of research is correlation research. The population in this study were soccer athletes Ribak Sude FC Tenayan Raya Pekanbaru City, which amounted to less than 100. The sampling technique used the Total Sampling technique, amounting to 25 people. The research instrument used was the Leg Dynamometer test, the eye-foot coordination test, and the shooting test. The data analysis technique used is the correlation value test. Based on data analysis carried out with the statistical system of soccer athletes Ribak Sude FC Tenayan Raya Pekanbaru City, obtained a correlation coefficient of r = 0.03 where the significance was tested by T test and obtained tcount of 0.09%. Thus, it can be concluded that there is no contribution of leg muscle strength and eye-foot coordination to the soccer shooting ability of Ribak Sude FC Tenayan Raya, Pekanbaru City athletes.
