Abstract
This research was conducted with the aim of looking at a comparison of science learning outcomes between classes that applied lecture and class methods that applied clippings-assisted Jurisprudential Analytical Inquiry learning models in Class VIII of SMP 8 Pekanbaru Academic Year 2018/2019 on respiratory system and excretion systems and compared two classes research, namely control class and experimental class. The sample in this study were students of class VIII2 and VIII3 of SMP 8 Pekanbaru. The sample was chosen based on the homogeneity test from the pre-test value. Then class VIII2 was chosen as the control class and class VIII3 as the experimental class. Data collection is carried out through test results of learning and observation. Based on descriptive data analysis, the average cognitive learning outcomes of the e control class students = 76,3 and the experimental class = 81,5 and the psychomotor mean values of the control class = 80,5 and the average value - psychomotor average students in the experimental class = 82,8. Hypothesis test data was obtained after the treatment was held, where the control class applied the lecture method while the experimental class applied clippings assisted Jurisprudential Analytical Inquiry learning methods. From the analysis of t-test data, it is known that tcount > t table, which is 121,63 > 1.69 then H0 is rejected H1 is accepted so that the recipient of the hypothesis is there is a difference in science learning outcomes between classes applying the lecture learning method with students applying the Jurisprudential Analytical learning model Assisted Inquiry Clippings in Class VIII Pekanbaru 8 Public High School Academic Year 2018/2019. It can be concluded that the application of the lecture method has a difference with the application of clipping-assisted Jurisprudential Analytical Inquiry learning model.
