Abstract

This study was conducted to see the differences in learning outcomes between grade biology student who use the media Mind Map to the media Concept Map in class VII Mts HASANAH Pekanbaru Acade mic Year 2018/2019 in the environmental pollu tion . This research is experimental study comparing two classes, namely the experimental class X 1 and X 2 experimental clsss. The study sample was selected based on homogeneity and finaly set VII 1 class as an experimental class X 1 (media Mind Map ) and the class as a class experimental X 2 (media Concept Map ). to use your data collection Techniques achievement test in the form of a script about quizzes, homework and daily tests for grades underst anding knowledge concepts (PKK) . Based on the analysis of descri ptive data obtained average obsorption learning outcomes understanding of science concepts (PKK) experimental class student X 1 (media Mind Map ) is 78,90% and the experimental class X 2 (media Concept Map) 74,91% . After the analysis, the concept of knowledge for understanding value (PPK) experimental class X 1 (media Mind Map ) and experimental class X 2 (media Concept Map) obtained t > t table with level 5% ie 1,50< 2,07 . thus it can be concluded that there is a difference between a class that uses the media Mind Map With media Concept Map in class VII Mts HASANAH Pekanbaru Academic Year 2018/2019.
