Abstract

This research aims to find out how the management of Balai Proco Art Gallery in Pasir Pangaraian Rokan Hulu Regency of Riau Province. According to Yahya (2016:07). based on yahya theory of art gallery management Balai Proco has a management function, namely: i) planning, ii) organizing, iii) implementation, iv) supervision, v) evaluation. This research uses descriptive research with qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. This research uses data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions / verification. From the results of research conducted in the field can be concluded that the majemen Sanggar Rumah Seni Balai Proco has been running in accordance with the management and management functions of Balai Proco Art House Gallery in Pasir Panggaraian Rokan Hulu Regency of Riau Province has been running well. i) planning, stating that an activity creates an organization and is followed by various plans to achieve predetermined goals, planning implies that the manager first thinks carefully of the goals and actions. ii) organizing, saying that as an activity of division of duties in the person involved in a cooperation. iii) implementation, saying that efforts to make every personnel on all staff capable of carrying out their duties and responsibilities optimally. iv) supervision, is the examination of whether something is happening with the plan, the instructions issued and the principles that have been determined. v) evaluation, is a function before corrective action taking by the leadership. This can be seen from all the activities of the management of Balai Proco Art Gallery in carrying out all its duties. This research place is located in Pasir Pangaraian Rokan Hulu Regency of Riau Province.
