Abstract

The sociology of literature is to understand literary works in relation to society, explaining imaginative imaginative fabrications. The literary sociology adopted by the writer is the sociology of literature in the novel Anak Anak Langit by Mohd Amin MS published by Pustaka Alvabet. The study of literary sociology that the authors adopted in this study is social conflict and social interaction. The problems in this study are (1) how is the social conflict contained in the novel Anak-Anak Langit by Mohd Amin MS, (2) How is the social interaction contained in the novel Anak-Anak Langit by Mohd Amin MS. The theory used to analyze this research problem is the theory put forward by Soekanto (2013). The method used is descriptive which aims to describe what research is in accordance with the data obtained from the sociology of literature in the novel Children of the Sky by Mohd Amin MS. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. The collection techniques used are observation and documentation. From the results of the study note that the most conflicting figures, namely Si ceking with MAK children with the number three because in the novel Anak Anak Langit by Mohd Amin MS contains a lot of conflicts down and down between MAK and high school kids, which at the time of orientation were mostly committee members are high school students. The most social interaction is individuals with individuals numbering ten because in the novel Anak Langit Anak Mohd Amin MS contains a lot of social relationships namely the character Simuh in the novel is a boarding school child who meets with his new friends from various corners of Sumatra so that he interacts a lot with his new friends.
