Abstract
Government Regulation Number 17 Year 2018 Regarding Subdistricts in carrying out the duties of Camat in Administering where Article 10 points c that the Camat in leading the District is tasked with coordinating efforts to provide peace and public order. In Coordinating the Implementation of Peace and Public Order includes Providing direct information, equating perceptions and objectives, Encouraging to exchange ideas, Mendorng to participate, Fostering good human relations between fellow members, Carrying out information communication. The purpose of this research is to find out the task of the Camat in coordinating the implementation of peace and public order in Concong Subdistrict, Indragiri Hilir Regency and to know the obstacles of the Camat's task in coordinating the implementation of peace and public order in Concong Subdistrict, Indragiri Hilir Regency. This research is a research using descriptive quantitative method, conducted by survey. The results of this study are expected to provide the following benefits: contribution of the mind in order to develop science especially in the field of social and political sciences as well as references to improve the implementation of the Camat's Task in Coordinating the Implementation of Peace and Public Order in Concong District of Indragiri Hilir Regency. The results of the research conducted in Concong Subdistrict, Indragiri Hilir Regency through six indicators are in the category "Good Enough" with a value of 17 or a percentage of 55%. However, the author suggested that the head of the sub-district head be able to improve coordination with the institutions of the village community and the local police regarding peace and order with the aim of achieving peace and order in the community.
