Abstract

This study aims to find out the profile of science process skills in biology learning students of grade XI IPA SMAN 15 Pekanbaru School Year 2020/2021. This research is descriptive research. The method used in this study is the survey method. Data collection is done using questions, interviews, observation sheets and documentation. Samples in this study as many as 108 students, taken from class XI IPA. The problem used consists of 21 multiple choice questions and essays. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the profile of science process skills in biology learning of grade XI IPA SMAN 15 Pekanbaru School Year 2020/2021 is seen in the science process skills, on the observing indicator obtained a percentage of 93.2 %, grouped by 78.1 %, interpreted by 56.8 %, predicted by 67.5%, asked questions by 49.1 %, hypothesized by 43.8 %, planned an experiment of 71.1 %, with an average percentage of 65.7% in either category. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that students of grade XI IPA SMAN 15 Pekanbaru School Year 2020/2021 have science process skills in good category.
