Abstract

Final Project of Biology Education Department, Faculty of Education and Teacher Training Pendidikan Universitas Islam Riau Adivisor: Dr.Sri Amnah M.Si Email: farizajuliani97@gmail.com ABSTRACT This study aims to determine student responses to online science learning during the Covid-19 pandemic class VIII SMPN 35 Pekanbaru in the 2020/2021 school year. This research is quantitative descriptive. This research method uses survey research methods. Data was collected using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The sample in this study was 70 people taken from class VIII of SMPN 35 Pekanbaru in the 2020/2021 academic year. The questionnaire distributed consisted of 33 statements consisting of 4 indicators and 10 sub indicators. Results Based on the research, the indicator of student activity in courage has a good category with a percentage of 80.33%. Indicators of technical barriers that affect disability in online learning have a poor percentage with a percentage of 58.73%. Indicators of doing learning divide it through interactions, assignments and teaching materials in online learning have a good category with a percentage of 76.67%. Stakeholder indicators that help the government, schools, parents in online learning have a good category with a percentage of 81.90%. It can be said that the student's response to online science learning during the Covid-19 pandemic LFH (Learning From Home) Class VIII SMPN 35 Pekanbaru was in the fairly good category with a percentage of 75.00%.
