Abstract
This study aims to determine to improve the biology learning outcomes of class XI MIPA B students of SMAN 1 Seberida in the application of The Power Of Two learning model using media handouts. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) using descriptive data analysis carried out from February to April 2019, the data obtained are Learning Outcomes. The research subject is class XI MIPA B, SMAN 1 Seberida, which consists of 36 students consisting of 14 male students and 22 female students. Absorption of student learning outcomes before CAR was 69.72%, absorption after CAR Cycle I was 82.69% which increased by 12.97%, in cycle II the absorption of students was 87.01% an increase of 4.32. The classical completeness of Psychomotor values before PTK is 70.86%, in the first cycle of Classical Completion is 82,75% an increase of 11,89% while in cycle II classical completeness is 83,40% an increase of 0.65% concluded that the application of the learning model The Power Of Two (Strength of Two) using media Handouts can improve student learning outcomes of class XI MIPA B SMAN 1 Seberida Academic Year 2018/2019.
