Abstract

The questions contained in the odd semester exam question script must be carried out based on the rules of writing questions. Each question must be studied in terms of material and construction. Therefore, it is very important to do an evaluation to find out whether the question has met the rules in the writing of the question. The problems studied in this study are: How is the writing of Indonesian language questions for the odd semester exam for class IX MTs Masmur Pekanbaru for the 2017/2018 academic year in the aspect of the question material? and How is the writing of the Indonesian language exam questions for the class IX odd semester Mts Masmur Pekanbaru for the 2017/2018 academic year in the aspect of question construction? The purpose of this study is to describe, analyze, and interpret data and information about the analysis of Indonesian language items for the odd semester exam for class IX MTs Masmur Pekanbaru in the 2017/2018 academic year in the aspect of question material and to describe, analyze, and interpret data and information about item analysis. Indonesian language exam odd semester class IX MTs Masmur Pekanbaru Academic Year 2017/2018 on the aspect of question construction.he theory used in this study is the 2008 Ministry of National Education, Nurgiyantoro 2014 and other supporting theories. The results of the study indicate that the Writing of Indonesian Language Questions for the Odd Semester Exam Class IX at MTs Masmur Pekanbaru in the 2017/2018 academic year, in terms of the aspect of writing the question material, has referred to the rules of writing very good questions. However, there are still some questions that are not in accordance with the rules of writing questions. The writing of the material aspects of the questions that are good as many as 46 items shows (92%), and those that are not good as many as 4 items show (8%), so the rules of writing questions in terms of material are categorized as very good (86-94) thus the hypothesis is rejected The writing of a good question construction aspect is 34 items (68%), and 16 items are not good (32%), so the rules for writing questions in terms of construction are categorized as sufficient (66-75) thus the hypothesis is rejected.
