Abstract

Revictimization or double victimization can be interpreted as the process of the victim becoming a victim again. The purpose of this study is to discuss what forms of revictimization are experienced by rape victims of minors. This research uses qualitative methods and case study research type. This study uses the theory of stigma. Where the focus of the theory that the author uses in this study is the theory of discreditable stigma. This theory explains the form of stigmatization experienced by the victim, making the victim a victim again (revictimization). When the victim, who should have received support to get back up, is stigmatized in the form of ridicule, ridicule, blaming the victim and blaming the victim's parents. So that the impact experienced by the victim is that the victim becomes uncomfortable, embarrassed, inferior, not confident, difficult to adapt to his environment again and has the potential to commit irregularities or crimes in the future. From this problem, the researcher sees that there are several aspects as a form to minimize the occurrence of this problem. It takes the role of several parties, namely the community, the school and parents to participate in dealing with these problems.
