Abstract

Bhabinkamtibmas in dealing with drug use behavior through coaching and socialization as well as collaboration with the community so that drug use can be minimized and stopped so that people are not trapped in their use. Drug abuse in the Rokan IV Koto Police Station, Rokan Hulu Regency is still rife, this is because the role of Bhbinkamtibmas has not been maximized in fostering and socializing and collaborating with the community so that drug trafficking still has an impact on the younger generation. The purpose of this study was to identify and provide an overview and to know the inhibiting factors for the role of Bhabinkamtibmas in the Prevention of Drug Abuse at the Rokan IV Koto Police Station, Rokan Hulu Regency. The research method used is a qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Discussion The role of Bhbinkamtibmas in the Prevention of Drug Abuse has not been maximized in carrying out development and socialization activities as well as cooperation with the community so that drug trafficking is still rampant. The results of the study indicate that the implementation time of Drug Abuse Prevention activities has not been maximally carried out by Bhbinkamtibmas so that people do not know the extent of the impact and consequences of drug abuse.
