Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the Supervision of Labor Wage Systems by the Pekanbaru City Manpower Office. The supervisory assessment indicators used include determining the size and standards, assessment measures, and corrective actions. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive survey, which prioritizes the questionnaire list as a data collection tool and the data collected with this tool is then used as the main raw material for analyzing the empirical conditions and objectivity of the existence of objectives at the research location. The population and sample in this study were 41 people. Types and data collection techniques used consist of, primary data collected using questionnaire and interview lists and secondary data collected using observation techniques. While the data analysis technique used is to use a frequency table tool. Based on this analysis technique the researchers assessed and concluded that the Supervision of the Labor Wage System by the Pekanbaru City Manpower Office was categorized Fairly Implemented. The inhibiting factor is the lack of budget and human resources (employees in the field of labor inspection), while companies that are developing in Pekanbaru are increasing, this has resulted in oversight by the Pekanbaru City Manpower Office through the Labor Inspection Field not optimal because it is evident in the implementation of inspections not touches all companies in the city of Pekanbaru, one of which is PT. Tivona Global Indo. Lack of awareness and knowledge about the importance of the City Minimum Wage (UMK) standard that the company should follow, for the sake of a better and harmonious relationship with the employees of the company itself. In addition the company is more concerned with personal benefits than the welfare of employees Lack of information and socialization provided by the Pekanbaru City Manpower Department to the company, especially PT. Tivona Global Indo regarding labor wage systems and other standards that must be applied by companies to employees.
