Abstract

Learning media are all things that can channel messages, can stimulate the thoughts, feelings, and willingness of students so they can encourage the achievement of learning processes in students. The use of appropriate media will create excitement in learning. Related to this problem the researchers found were 1) variations in the use of intermediate types in learning Indonesian in class VII of Bukit Raya Pekanbaru Middle School, 2) visual media used by teachers in learning Indonesian in class VII of Bukit Raya Pekanbaru Middle School, 3) teachers experienced obstacles in the use of Indonesian learning media in class VII SMP Raya Pekanbaru. To discuss this problem the author uses Arif S. Sadiman et al., Nana Sadjana and Ahmad Rivai, Wina Sanjaya. Population in this study amounted to 4 Schools in SMP Raya Evidence. While the data sources were teachers who were in class VII of SMP Raya Bukit Raya. Data in this research is in the form of a questionnaire that has been given to teachers who teach in grade VII SMP Bukit Raya in different schools. The research approach used in this study is quantitative. Data collection techniques are questionnaires and documentation. The results of this study conclude that there are variations in the use of visual media in Indonesian language learning in class VII of Bukit Raya Pekanbaru Middle School in number 48 categorized (sometimes), visual media used by teachers in learning Indonesian in class VII Bukit Raya Pekanbaru Junior High School is 28% categorized (rare), teachers experience obstacles in the use of Indonesian language learning media in the seventh grade of Bukit Raya Pekanbaru Middle School in 40% category (rare).
