Abstract
Although it is considered by society as deviant behavior and contradicts the prevailing norms in society, women who like same-sex or called Lesbian are not an obstacle for those who choose to live as same-sex lovers or lesbians in Pekanbaru City. The increase in Lesbian existence in Pekanbaru City is in line with the development of the female futsal community in Pekanbaru City. So to see how the pattern of Interpersonal communication of lesbians in the city of Pekanbaru so that its existence can be seen, the researchers used a qualitative research method by conducting in-depth interviews with the research sources. This study explains that the process of interpersonal communication of lesbians with their friends on the futsal field is their private information as lesbians at the collective boundary, so that information as lesbians is kept and not opened to the public. However, all efforts made by lesbians are part of the struggle to be accepted in themselves and their neighborhoods, so that they always get the same recognition as other normal communities. The form of lesbian communication with surrounding friends on the Latansa futsal field is influenced by symbols given by others. Through giving a symbolic sign, lesbians can express their feelings, thoughts, by means of reading symbols displayed by other people. While the factors that cause them to become lesbians are family circumstances and the condition of parental relations and the environment that play a dominant role in influencing someone to decide to become a lesbian.
