Abstract
Analyzing negotiating texts is one of the literary skills develop students' imagination and thinking abilities. Therefore, negotiating texts need to be taught to students, text analysis skills negotiations were studied in the 2013 curriculum on Indonesian language subjects secondary school, especially class X. The text of this negotiation is contained in Basic Competence 3.11. Analyze the structure and language content of the negotiating text. The problems examined in this study are: What is the ability analyze the negotiating text of class X MIA 2 students in Sports State High School Riau Province by structure? And what is the ability to analyze negotiating text of class X MIA 2 students in Riau State Sports High School based on linguistic rules? The purpose of this study is to describe, analyze, interpret and conclude the ability to analyze negotiating text of class X MIA 2 students in Riau State Sports High School based on structure and describing, analyzing, interpreting and concludes the ability to analyze negotiating texts of class X MIA 2 students at Riau Province Sports High School based on linguistic rules. Research this uses a quantitative approach, because the data is related to ability to analyze the structure and language of class X negotiating text MIA 2 in Riau Province State High School Sports Academic Year 2018/2019 is numerical data. The theory used in this research is theory Conastantya (2017), Yustinah (2014), Kosasih (2017), Sudjana (2013), Sudijono (2009) and others. The results showed that ability analyze the structure of negotiating text in class X MIA 2 students in Public High Schools Sports Province of Riau 2018/2019 school year is categorized as not good (61%) in this case the hypothesis is rejected. Whereas the ability to analyze rules language of the negotiating text of students of class X MIA 2 in the Provincial Sports High School Riau in the 2018/2019 school year is categorized as very bad (30.5%) and in terms of this hypothesis is rejected.
