Abstract

The role of the sub-district head as development coordinator in Singingi District, Kuantan Singingi Regency is not without problems. The results of the study found that there are problems that arise such as physical and non-physical coordination in carrying out development in Singingi District. The formulation of the problem in this research is How the Role of the Sub-District Head in Coordinating Development in Singingi District, Kuantan Singingi Regency so that it will be better in the future. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of the sub-district head in coordinating development in Singingi District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, this theory is based on Hasibuan's (2006:85) theory of coordination with elements of planning, communication, division of labor and supervision. The research method used a qualitative approach, the informants in this study were the sub-district apparatus and the community of the singing district. The data study techniques in this study were interviews, observation, documentation, and qualitative analysis. The result of this research is the role of the sub-district head in coordinating development in Singingi sub-district, Kuantan Singingi district has been going well, it is proven that the sub-district head has carried out development planning in Singingi sub-district according to planning procedures, the process is with development planning planning. Other elements such as communication on development coordination have been carried out properly and officials are working according to their duties and responsibilities.
