Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how the influence of Xiaomi mobile phone ads on Facebook social media on buying interest in adolescents of male and female students of SMPN 1 Rokan Hulu Regency. Supporting theories used in this research include marketing communication, advertising, social media, Facebook, and AIDDA theory explaining that there are concerns, interests, desires, decisions and actions. The method in this study uses quantitative research methods, the sampling technique in this study is simple random sampling or simple random sampling which is a sampling technique as many as 100 randomly carried out without regard to strata that exist in a population of 132. The respondents in the study This teenage student of SMPN 1 fullness upstream of the results of this study stated that the value of t arithmetic> t table is 11,384> 1.98477 with a significant (0,000 <0.05) which shows that Ho in rejected Ha is accepted and there is a significant influence between xiaomi handphone ad variable on Facebook social media on the buying interest of upstream teenagers. The results of the coefficient of determination of xiaomi handphone ads to the buying interest of teenage students of SMPN 1 fullness upstream of 0.23 then 23% is the influence of xiaomi handphone ads on social media facebook while the rest is explained by other causes.
