Abstract

This study aims to determin the cuases of suppliers of Fresh Palm Fruit Bunches in Tambang District to be victims of fraud. The research method used is library research by collecting data in the form of needed documents and field research through direct interview techniques to obtain data, analyze and do it qualitatively then presented descriptively. The theory is used according to a perspective review of victim involvement by Ezzat Abdel Fattah where there are five classifications of victims namely: nonparticipative victims, latent victims, provocative victims, participatory victims, and victims due to mistakes. Based on the five classifications of victims, this fraud case of supplying fresh fruit bunches of oil palm is classified as participatory victims. The results of the study and discussion showed that there were several roles from the supplier so that he became a victim of fraudulent crimes. These roles include: not having enough sources of Fresh Fruit Bunches, uncontrolled dissemination of Fruit Delivery Letters, inaccurate examination of Fruit Delivery Letters and loose security systems.
