Abstract

This thesis is entitled "Strategies for Improving the Quality of Education by the Education Office in Bagan Limau Village, Ukui District, Pelalawan Regency". who are still lacking in winning school improvement in order to achieve good quality. As the promise of the State of the Republic of Indonesia in the 1945 Constitution, that the state guarantees to provide decent education for its people, which in this case is mandatory for the local government concerned in this case is the education office of Pelalawan Regency, as an extension of the central government and as a form of implementation of regional autonomy. This study aims to look at the strategies used by the education office in improving the quality of education in the district, and how the education office prepares the strategies and programs they will use to meet the quality standards set in this scientific paper, as well as the use of the theory put forward by Buttrerikck Keith. . The results of this study indicate that the Education Office has tried as much as possible to create a strategy that will be used based on the rules held by the education office, which results in program policies to improve the quality of education in Pelalawan Regency, especially in the 017 State Elementary School, Bagan Limau Village, Ukui District. . However, the data collected shows that there are still some obstacles, so it has not run optimally.
