Abstract

This study aims to determine how the evaluation of the performance of the village head in administering the government and what obstacle factors affect the evaluation of the performance of the village head in administering the village administration of Simpang Padang, Inner Solapan District, Bengkalis Regency. The assessment indicators used include Development, Reward, Motivation, HR Planning, Compensation, and Communication. This type of research which is located in the Simpang Padang Village office, Bathin Solapan District, Bengkalis Regency is quantitative research. The numerical data comes from the results of questionnaires and interviews. The sampling technique used in this study was saturated sampling and purposive sampling technique. The research data comes from primary data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires and research interviews. Then secondary data in the form of literature books and the internet according to the required data. In data analysis, it is presented in the form of a written description, which will be analyzed using descriptive or elaboration methods. Based on research conducted on the Performance Evaluation of the Village Head in Organizing the Village Government of Simpang Padang, Bathin Solapan District, Bengkalis Regency, it is known that the performance of the village head in administering the Simpang Padang Village government, Bathin Solapan District, Bengkalis Regency in terms of evaluation on the respondent's response is quite good with 47 respondents with a proportion of 51.09%.
