Abstract

This study aims to explain the performance of employees in the residential area of the Public Housing and Residential Areas of Pekanbaru City. The concept of performance appraisal used includes work quality, work quantity, working time, cooperation, reliability, competence and communication. This type of research is a descriptive survey with quantitative and qualitative analysis, which prioritizes a list of questionnaires as a data collection tool and the data collected with this tool is then used as the main material to analyze empirical conditions at the research location. The population and sample in this study amounted to 21 people. The data collection technique used consisted of, primary data collected using questionnaires and interviews and secondary data collected using observation techniques. While the data analysis technique used is by using a frequency table tool. Based on this analysis technique, the researcher assessed and concluded that the Employee Performance Analysis in the Residential Areas of the Public Housing and Residential Areas of Pekanbaru City was in the assessment interval of Fairly Good. There are still weaknesses, namely that employees in the residential area rarely do socialization with the community regarding healthy environmental programs and the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness. In addition, the Pekanbaru City Public Housing and Settlement Service Office only put up a banner about the prohibition of throwing garbage, but the agency did not provide trash cans and there was no waste transportation, so that garbage piled up. Then there are no strict sanctions for perpetrators who throw garbage carelessly. And there are still some houses that are flooded when it rains because the culverts are too small, causing flooding. In addition, some of the iron drainage covers are damaged and missing.
