Abstract

Role is an action taken by a person or group of people in an event or part that someone plays in an event. Whereas Coordination is the self-adjustment of each part, and the effort to mobilize and operate the parts at a suitable time, so that each part can make the most contribution to the overall outcome. The problem that arises is the lack of the role of the sub-district administrator in maintaining public facilities in the nilap bay. This resulted in 5 units of official housing in the village of Nilap bay not being maintained even 2 houses were severely damaged. The lack of coordination was carried out by the sub-district head to the nilap bay in delegation of tasks in the management of public facilities. Thus, the purpose of the study was to determine the role of the Camat in coordinating the maintenance of infrastructure and public service facilities in Kepenghuluan Teluk Nilap, Kubu Babussalam District, Rokan Hilir Regency. This type of research is a descriptive survey with the research location of Kepenghuluan Teluk Nilap, Kubu Babussalam District, Rokan Hilir Regency. Types and sources of data used primary data and secondary data, while collecting data through the results of observations, surveys, interviews, and research questionnaires. After the data is obtained then grouped according to its type in a table, then the data is analyzed and linked to theories in the form of descriptions so that conclusions can be taken. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the role of the Camat in Coordinating Public Infrastructure and Facilities in Kepenghuluan Teluk Nilap, Kubu Babussalam Subdistrict, Rokan Hilir Regency has a significant role with a percentage of 38.12%. This is based on the reality found, namely: a) Planning has enough role. b) communication is in the category of acting well. c) the division and work relations in the category play a role. d) holding meetings in the category is quite instrumental.
