Abstract
The aim of this research is to find out how the influence of pineapple plantations on the economy, employment and derivative production in Kualu Nenas Village, Tambang District, Kampar Regency. This research was conducted in Kualu Nenas Village, Tambang District, Kampar Regency. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data, the population in this study were all pineapple farmers as many as 847 people, to look for samples using the stratified random sampling method with a standard error of 5% and the sample in this study were 42 people pineapple farmers. The method or data analysis technique used in this study is a descriptive analysis method with the steps of preparing the guidance questionnaire, analyzing the reasons and analyzing the welfare level of pineapple farmers is done by comparing the amount of income earned by pineapple farmers with the welfare of the household economy. Among the 42 respondents there were 35 respondents whose economies were included in the welfare category. So it can be concluded that the pineapple farmers in Kualu Nenas Village, Tambang District, Kampar Regency are already prosperous.
